New Century Forum is a pro-Beijingmiddle-class oriented political group in the Hong KongSpecial Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. The group comprises professionals, businessmen and academics, and aims to represent the voice of the middle-class. It is currently led by convenor Ma Fung-kwok.
Founded by generosity pioneers Larry Burkett, Ron Blue, and Terry Parker, NCF is now the 8th-largest U.S. Non-profit and the largest Christian grantmaker in the world. SENSE is administered and operated by the National Casino Forum (NCF) on behalf of UK land-based casinos. For a full list of participating casinos go to. National Casino Forum. The National Casino Forum - Promotes a positive agenda for a well regulated, socially responsible and economically sustainable UK Casino Industry. The National Casino Forum (NCF) that currently represents the land-based casinos in the UK, unveiled a detailed response for the Call for Evidence made by the Government’s Department for Culture, Media and Sports (DCMS) in December 2016.
Platform[edit]
The basic platform of the group is to consolidate the power of the middle-class and to protect the long-term interest of Hong Kong. It aims to focus on studying various public policy issues and suggest proposals in a rational and professional manner, on the basis of the 'One country-two systems' principle. On political development, it advocates development of a democratic political system in a step by step process. The party is relatively small and its platforms undeveloped.
History[edit]
The New Century Forum was formed by Ng Ching-fai, then member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong and dean of the Hong Kong Baptist University. Ng resigned from the President of the Baptist University in 2001 and quit the New Century Forum. Ma Fung-kwok, the incumbent convenor, was elected into LegCo by the election committee in 2001, replacing the Ng Ching-fai. With the cancellation of the election committee seats in the 2004 elections, the group had no seat in the LegCo until convenor Ma Fung-kwok won a seat in the Sports, Performing Arts, Culture and Publication in 2012 LegCo election.
The group participated in the direct elections in the 2000 LegCo elections and the 2004 LegCo elections but did not win any seat. Members of the group also contested in the District Council elections but usually ran as independent candidates.

We are committed to encouraging social responsibility and diversity amongst operators.The National Casino Forum is a board member of the European Casino Association and our chief executive is the Vice-Chair of the ECA; the NCF is a member of the Industry Group for Responsible Gambling and an active participant in the Responsible Gambling Strategy Board’s advisory group.
The NCF’s mission is to support the interests of the UK land-based casino operators. Our members offer a modern and diverse range of gambling products in an exciting, enjoyable and safe environment.
The NCF runs forums to develop and innovate the casino industry. Our members are actively involved with all aspects of casino gaming legislation and regulation. We help inform policy makers on the current and future growth of the sector.
Our core activities include working with Government departments, the Gambling Commission, Local Authorities, researchers and academics within the gambling field and care providers. We are a fully GDPR compliant organisation. ref

The Independent Panel for Casino & Bingo Arbitration (IPCA) website provides information on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for the UK land based casino and bingo industry.
Under the Licensed Conditions and Codes of Practice (LCCP) for Gambling Operators, issued by the Gambling Commission, Licensees must put in place procedures for resolving customer complaints and disputes and the existence and terms of such procedures must be drawn to the attention of all customers. ref
